Life Lessons
Among the last events before the arrival of God’s Son on planet Earth were two baby announcements. First, an angel told an aged priest and his equally aged wife would have a child who would become the forerunner of Messiah. Then a young virgin was told that she would give birth to that Messiah. The angel Gabriel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus”. The God of wonder brought His Son into the world with announcements of the impossible to a couple too old and a girl too young. What amazing declarations! He was sending His Son for all.

Annual Christmas Offering
Throughout the month of December, we are asking all of you to give a special offering (above your regular giving) to help
us end the year in good shape financially. This is very important to the continuation of God’s work. And as we give, we will remember the words of Scripture: “God loves a cheerful giver”; When we all take part joyfully, God will use us to share the Word faithfully both here and around the world.

Christmas Candlelight Service December 25th
We will celebrate the day of our Lord’s birth with a special Christmas Candlelight Communion service on December 25th at 11:00 AM. (Please note that there will be no Bible Fellowship that day.) We encourage all of our families to open gifts on Christmas Eve or early on Christmas morning so everyone can be with us for this very special Christmas celebration!

Ways to Give in 2022
First, you may donate to God’s kingdom work ONLINE by going to the website at ridgepointefellowship.com and clicking on the menu item at the top right listed as: “Give”.
Simply fill out the form provided, and the rest is easy. You can also access this form by texting “Give” to 972-656-0445.
Another way to give is by using the app ZELLE. Simply enter the email: ridge.pointe.church@gmail.com to give.
Finally, as always, if you are attending in person you may give by cash or check DIRECTLY in the offering boxes located just outside the sanctuary. One is in the back foyer, the other is just outside he entry door of the sanctuary. Thanks always for your generosity to God’s kingdom work!
