Memory Verse
Then Jesus said to him [Bartimaeus], “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road (Mark 10:52).

Life Lessons
Bartimaeus, in the Gospel of Mark is a blind man who sees better than anybody we meet in the Gospel. He knows that Jesus is the Son of David (the Messiah). He is born-again. He believed before he was healed of his blindness. But there is a spiritual blindness relating to discipleship that a believer can have. The disciples in Mark had that problem. Bartimaeus does not have that problem. He “followed Jesus on the road.” Unlike the blind man at Bethsaida, and the disciples themselves, Bartimaeus is one who sees clearly.
