Bulletin Oct 26, 2025

Welcome to Ridge Pointe!

It is our hope today that you will sense our love and devotion for God, our love of great worship music to God, and our love of the timeless and powerful Word of God. Have a blessed day as you worship with us!

Memory Verse

And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid: (Mark 6:49–50).
Commentary
In the middle of the storm, the disciples thought they were seeing a ghost. Their absolute terror is understandable yet at the same time reflects a self- rather than God-orientation to life. So, Jesus Himself comes to their rescue. By telling them, “It is I,” Jesus assured His men: “I am Yahweh, do not be afraid” (Gen. 15:1; 26:24; 46:3). Great advice no matter what the circumstances!

Holiday Season 2025

On November 23rd we will have our annual Thanksgiving luncheon. It will not be a regular potluck like most months.  We will have a set menu for the meal. Becky Steller has volunteered to be the point person for this event. You may start signing up with her after church today.
We will even supply the pans for you to bring dish in. Having the same size pans helps us set up the food line easier. It also means you don’t have to take home a dirty pan. Also, we are asking that no one bring any food with nuts in it.  I know we have other food allergies, but Becky has a severe nut allergy.

On December 21st we will have our Christmas candlelight communion service in the morning worship time.

After this special time of celebrating the remembrance of our Savior’s birth and the life he gave to give us eternal life. We will have some refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. There will be cookies, coffee, and hot cocoa. See Becky Steller for more information.
