Memory Verse
When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance” (Mark 2:17).
Commentary
Jesus was very interested in setting humans free from sin. He ate with sinners so He could call them to turn from sin and escape its punishing effects. Sin ruins people whether they are born again or not. This is why God desires all people to “come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

A new get out and have fun group meeting once a month starting in May. Kickoff will be 17th at 10 am. Fun for all adults but, focused on Seniors. For information see Becky Steller.
